The characteristics and using purpose of "Sunder Intranasal Splint":

The device is made of soft, non-toxic and low irritant silicone.It provides the patient with the sustainability of the shape of nose after the surgery of cleft lip and palate; it prevents the nose from changing shape after related nose surgeries and it can be used for orrection purpose for patients with narrow nostril. The device can reduce the hemorrhage and ropsy after operating nose surgeries, and prevent the nasal cavity from sticking together. The device is placed in the nasal cavity during surgery or after the wound.

Using instructions:

1. Before using the product, please consult a doctor.
2. Before using the product, please check and select the one suitable for nostril size.
3. The product is not in the sterilized condition. After taking it from the packaging box, please read the manual instructions in detail before using it and please check its appearance to confirm whether it is without defect. Afterwards please use normal saline to flush and clean the product. 
4. Please ensure that the direction of the product is set properly before putting into the nostril. If the direction is put in wrong way, it will possibly cause the difficulty while taking it down and cause the danger of inhaling it into the body.

Attentions:

1. Please ensure that the product is maintained in clean condition at all times. If there is any secretion of nasal cavity occurring in use, please eliminate it immediately and clean the product in order to avoid the suffocation and related infection due to nasal cavity blocking.
2. During the use it could initiate the infection, the granulation and related nasal cavity iseases such as mucous membrane secretion or allergy, if there is any uncomfortable feeling after using the product, please stop using immediately and consult a doctor for proper treatment. It will be strongly suggested to replace the product from time to time in order to maintain the product in clean condition.
3. Please do not let a child operate this product alone. It is a must to have one adult beside the child and operate the product correctly.
4. It is strictly forbidden to swallow the product. Please keep out of reach of children. If it is swallowed by accident, please consult a doctor immediately.
5. The product is used for sole patient only. In order to avoid the cross infection, please do not let other patients use the same one.
6. The product is made of silicone rubber. While taking it down please do not use the pliers or incisive to avoid causing the breakage of the product.

Storage and maintenance:

1. Please storage it in the clean, dry place as well as low temperature and avoid the sunlight and the ultraviolet radiation on the product itself.
2. The proper scope of temperature for maintaining silicon rubber material：
   －40 oC ~ 220 oC

Using period:

It is strongly suggested to use the product within 30 days.
Please discard the product properly if the using period exceeds 30 days
